Employers State Law Alert

Our corporate office is located in MD and we have clients located all over the nation. Until recently, all our employees worked in the corporate office. Starting in May/June, I now have employees from West Coast to East Coast.
So, I need a quick read that will alert me to the changes in employment law for all the states so that I can keep up with it. CA will be the most critical (and all this for 1 employee!) Since I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels inundated with HR information thru newsletters, websites, vendors, etc, can anyone give me feedback on the value of the Employers State Law Alert?
Just trying to minimize the incoming & minimize the $$ (which would make my CFO smile!)
