1) If dates of termination are extended for a few employees, at what point must we issue a revised warn notification? Is it outside a 14 day window of termination?

2) If the employees are represented by a union,the WARN notification only had to be issued to the union. Will the "revision" letter go to the union and be sufficient, or must the letter be issued to each individual employee affected?

We had to do a WARN last year and even though our employees are represented by unions we still sent each of them a separate letter. I think you have a 60 day window from the originally posted termination date, but I'd check the regs to be sure. I know it's more than 14.

Thanks. The problem is even the DOL does not want to "interpret" the regs or offer an opinion.
