Do you include any limit of alcohol consumption in your travel/entertainment policy?

    We don't set a limit but we do state the following: As a XYZ employee, you may be called upon to attend social functions where alcoholic beverages are being served. It is your personal choice to drink these beverages or not. However, if you choose to partake of an alcoholic beverage, remember that you are representing XYZ and that you are expected to present yourself accordingly. Any employee who is under the influence of alcoholic beverages poses a threat to you and other employees. These actions will not be tolerated in any form and may lead to disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.

    We have a very similiar policy but it is not a part of our travel policy...it is a policy in general that when you are representing the company no matter where or what, your "good" behavior is expected to be maintained. Of course we don't word it exactly that way!
