Affirmative Action Information about upcoming audits

I have received another e-mail (Oct.11) from the Biddle Consulting Group, a reputable AA consulting company. This is what it says.

"OFCCP is generating two advance notice letters informing contractors of upcoming compliance reviews. the first was mailed last Friday to 226 Corporate Headquarters offices. Each of the 226 Corporate Headquarters establishments can receive up to a maximum of 10 reviews on their advance notification letter. These 226 represent companies with more than one establishment. Letters are also being sent to 600 single office establishments. A total of 1499 establishments will be selected for a compliance review this fiscal year. The scheduling letters will be based on two year old (2003) EEO-1 data. A second announcement letter will be mailed between November and January. With this announcement letter OFCCP can schedule up to 15 additional reviews at a company."

I don't really know what that means, but it did make my blood run cold regardless. 226? 1499? Where on earth did these numbers come from? (And please, dear God, don't let my number come up!) FIFTEEN additional reviews??? Good grief.

I think that you are number 225!!!!!!!!!! The additional reviews would be the number of job sites that would be reviewed for a multi-establishment employer - the biggies.
