Oklahoma - State Withholdings

Can someone please confirm that there are no state tax withholdings on employees wages in Oklahoma.

I can not find a state tax withholdings certificate so I am going to assume that there are not state taxes withheld.

Correct??

States with no income tax: Alaska, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Texas, Washington, Wyoming.

States with taxes on interest and dividends only (not wages): New Hampshire, Tennessee

Good to know. But I still have this one tiny problem... I can find a whithholdings certificate.

I have been to OK's DOL site, the site referenced above, payrolltaxes.com, ADP, and more. Not one of these sites have I found a withholdings certificate for the state of OK.

They may not have their forms online to download. What don't you call their office directly?

Our payroll person uses this website:

[url]http://payroll.bna.com[/url]. It costs to get in there (maybe you can get a trial membership), but it is completely one stop shopping and will have this form (and many others for every state in the union.) We've been using it for over a year and I highly recommend it.

Some states don't have one (like the wonderful state of GA), such as CO. You use the federal form for the withholding. This may be the same. Either fax or call them on this.

From my quick research on BNA, E Wart is right. Oklahoma is a 'use the employee's federal elections to withhold for the state withholding.
