Does Payroll report to HR or accounting?
We are a small company - I wear two hats, CFO and HR Manager. I am interested in what percentage of the membership is similarly situated.
To whom? i.e. Plant Manager, CFO, etc, etc.

A regional or district HR manager/director at another location

What type of industry? (Health care, government, manufacturing, banking, etc.) I also like to know how Human Resources is regarded in the particular workplace. Credible? Clerical? Strategic Partner? 'Fluff?'
