Applicant calls me 2 times for an interview. We were not scheduling first two times I spoke with her. I called her last month for interview and she tells me she is working for a temp service and wants to finish out the assignment could she interview in Feb. Told her we were interviewing now and hoped to have position filled before then. She calls back last week, says assignment finished would like interview. It just so happens we are interview for another position that looked like a fit for her, I set up the interview for today at l:00 and she is a no call/no show. GO FIGURE! She has now been placed on my don't interview/hire list!

It must be nice to be so picky when looking for a job -- there are tons of people who are deperate for work and then you have your applicant....go figure!!

That's why she remains a temp. She's unorganized, goal-less, clueless, without a plan and does not need job security in her life. Good for her.

Samantha Q you hit the nail on the head! She called an hour and 10 min. after her scheduled time to say she was caught in traffic 50 miles away. She live 5 miles from our office. Interview was for 10:00 a.m. Once again...go figure. I told her that we are booked most of next week with interviews and if we don't select anyone we may call to reschedule....NOT!

I probably would not take this extra step with her, but it might be a great service to tell her how flighty she appears to a person trying to put reliable, responsbible people into positions. She will probably flounder around in this aimless manner for years, without a clue why she cannot seem to land a good job.
