If you had an employee whose position was phased out and they were invited to apply for any available positions which are or may become available, how do you ensure they know what becomes available in the future?
Do you ask them to look in the newspaper if you advertise on a routine basis? Or do you ask them to call in periodically?
What is the obligation of the employer to inform the rif'd employee?
