We hired someone to work as an auditor who has an optional practical training visa. We have sponsored her for an H-1B but, because the quota was filled for this year, it won't happen until after the expiration of her current Visa.
Does anyone have any creative ideas (legal, as well) of how we might keep her in the country for the few months between expiration and the new Visa? I don't know if enrolling in school would do it, but is there another way?
