Does anyone have, or know where I can find, good surveys on workplace stress or workplace anger? We're trying to address both these issues.

I googled it but can't find any actual templates or anything. Perhaps you could make a list of the warning signs of ee violence or signs of stress and make up your own questions around those. Then you could "score" the survey depending on the answers chosen. Of course, it's not like it would be major rocket science or anything but it might help if you're just trying to get an idea of where your ee's stand on these issues. I wouldn't make any of the questions too "easy" or obvious. Try to make them have "no wrong answers".

I'd be leery of playing psychologist...It may be worth looking into a firm or a local psycologist devleop a test and review the results for you....

I agree, I'm reluctant to reinvent the wheel and surveys are hard to do. I can buy one but I guess I was trying to wow her with my resourcefullness.

The NIOSH website suggested contacting the American Psychological Association (1-800-964-2000) to reach a consultant about workplace stress and violence. Let us know if you find some good stuff.
