anyone attend a National Seminars Group seminar? Need opinions

[font size="1" color="#FF0000"]LAST EDITED ON 12-03-03 AT 03:15PM (CST)[/font][br][br]I got a flyer in the mail for a "Workplace Safety & OSHA Compliance" workshop in January. It is presented by the "National Seminars Group." It is basically a one day OSHA seminar for $199. I wondered if anyone attended any seminars from this company and if it was worth it. It says they have a money back guarantee so I guess if it's not I can try to get the money back.

I personally have never gone to one, but I have sent my employees to them for various topics. They all say great things about the presenter and the material they provide is comprehensive.

I have also ordered some of their materials and have found them useful and well organized.

My OSHA Officer just attended one by Healthcare Compliance Resources, Inc out of Roanoke VA and said it was great -- best one he's been to in a long time.

I attended the same seminar in November. National Seminars Group is affiliated with Rockhurst University out of Kansas City, MO. The speaker I had was a Mr. Bernhart (I can't remember his first name). He was an incredible speaker and kept things lively the entire day. I would never have believed a safety seminar could be interesting, but it actually was. I thought it was well worth the money and brought back a lot of useful information. Hopefully, if you attend, you will have the pleasure of having the same speaker!

I've attended a couple of their sessions. I would rate them OK on balance. I've attended better, but for a 1-day program they try to make it comprehensive. Like all, it depends on the presenter. Relatively inexpensive.
