We have gotten a draft agreement form from our attorney. Our Director now has to write a policy to go with. I feel we have discussed this before, but other than Leslie's thread, I can not find what I am sure I remember (right). Can any one direct me to the thread or does anyone have a policy of this type that they would be willing to share. Thanks in advance.

Sonny: We don't call them "romance" agreements - we call ours a non-fraternization policy. I will be glad to email or fax you what we use in our practice if you would like a copy.

We might consider such a policy if we weren't so certain that the union would go absolutely crazy. In the past, in a non-union setting, I have handled this informally by insisting that co-workers who have romances cannot be linked in the chain-of-command. A few years ago I had six subordinates who began romances, and a couple of them reported to each other. After a flurry of transfers and one year later I found myself a guest at three weddings. All six were outstanding employees, and are still happily married 10 years later.

Thanks to you all (Leslie too) I am hopeful Crout, that I, too, will dance (well as much as i dance) at at least one wedding. .the others. .well, call me old fashion, but I think it behooves people to get divorced first thanks again.
