Does anyone see any issues with using a day off with pay as a reward for good performance? There would be goals and metrics to meet. It would be geared mainly to non-exempt and hourly employees.
we are non-union and we have given a day and two day "certificates" as part of a holiday raffle. The raffle tickets were free. It was well appreciated.
Our company awarded Day Off Coupons last year to all staff and it was well received. It boosted morale, showed our employees the company truly appreciates the hard work that the team gives forth. This is something we will continue to do on a random basis, as we do not want the staff to depend on this reward.
