Employee Handbooks

[font size="1" color="#FF0000"]LAST EDITED ON 07-30-03 AT 01:32PM (CST)[/font][p]We want to do away with the employee handbook and use the HR Policy Manual as the only reference With website access and HR Policy Manuals in each department the handbook seems to be more work than it's worth.

Anyone else thinking the same way?

I'd love to but they won't let me. Love the idea of employees signing a piece of paper that they have it in their hot little hands - and I do have to admit it comes in handy with disciplinaries, terms and such.

I have eliminated our handbooks. However we give all new ees our policy manaul in addition we post our policies on our intranet site. I love it becasue when there is an update you only have to send out a couple of pages and an aknowledgement page to be signed. Saving time and money in the long run.
