supervisor's legal exposure

Can anyone suggest a source for articles on supervisor's being personally liable for their actions with employees they either directly or indirectly supervise? Our firm is located in Washington state. I think that many supervisors really don't know their exposure in possible litigation. Thanks for your input.

Nick: I feel your pain. I went over to the left column on this page, down at the bottom and typed in 'supervisory liability' and hit search. It displayed several appropriate articles. Hope this helps.
