Marijuana Found in Work Area

One of our employees found a small bag of marijuana on the floor and brought it into my office. We have a drug testing program, and a policy against drug possession and use on Company property, but I seriously doubt there's any chance of nailing the culprit who dropped it. Other than disposing of it, is there anything further I'm obligated to do? We often have outside vendors in the work area, so I'm not even sure one of our employees is the guilty party.

Because you haven't a clue as to where it came from,or that it even came from an employee, I don't see where there is anything else you can do except dispose of it (properly, of course).
