immigration

i heard that last month a new reg got adopted...here is the scenario for it--employer sends off one time a year a list of all employees and their s/s numbers...gets a report back that says some of them are bad...employer takes action...here is what i heard--if an employer has a history of this they can now get a huge fine, the idea being that if their is a history of bad s/s numbers than the employer---while technically following the law---is really doing a sham I-9 dance with its applicants...anyone heard anything?...thanks,mike
