Management to Staff Ratios in Healthcare

Our clinic is a multispecialty ambulatory clinic and I am looking for some idea of how other clinics staff. Our physicians have raised questions as to the number of management to staff ratios. We have staff that report directly to a supervisor who then report to a manager. We have 1800 employees. Can anyone offer some insight as to how their clinic's reporting structure is set and number of employees/mgmt. Thank you.
