D.O.T. Records

OSHA records for medical exams required by law must be retained for the duration of employment plus 30 years. Does this include D.O.T. physicals? If not, what is the record retention requirement for D.O.T.?

    I notice that you are in Tennessee. Give MS Carriers, a large TN based OTR carrier based in Memphis, a call and ask to speak to someone in their driver records section. I know that they will be able to give you an immediate and reliable answer since they must follow the same tight D.O.T. regulations that you probably also must follow. If that should fail for any reason, you might either call the TN Dept of Transportation or finally the Federal Dept Of Transportation. Good Luck.
