Do any of you have established guidelines for hiring secretaries when it comes to keyboard speed vs. experience? Is 65 wpm over or under what one should be able to do with two years experience? And even more importantly, what should the speed requirements be for a secretary with over 10 years experience? HELP!!

65 wpm is pretty slow for someone who earns their living typing. By the time someone has been typing for two years, their speed is usually set. Some obviously are faster than others. For a secretarial position that requires lots of typing, most companies look for 80 wpm minimum. Hope that helps.
