Recruiting Foreign Employees

In our cardiology practice, we are looking at the possibility of recruiting nurses out of the country (Canada, Ireland,England, India). Do any of you have this type of recruiting experience and what type of requirements are we looking at (VISAS, etc.) or additional training, etc.?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We've just completed exhaustive research on this and rather than use this site to promote what we decided, if you e-mail me I'll share my results with you. I can tell you that if you're not looking at 20-25 foreign nurses needed over the next couple of years, you'll be way down on the priority list of most of these firms. Many east coast hosp's/health system have orders for 150-200 staff nurses, so a request for 3 or 4 cardiology nurses may not move to their front burner. They'll help you, but like anything else, you may not be their primary client.
