work comp case?
FL employee/employer-injured worker has been with us 30 days, hurt themself and now is expecting to be out of work 4+ weeks.
We currently do not allow this much time off to employees within their probation period and not covered by some type of leave/ADA accommodation.
The injury isn't ADA covered as it is not a disability but a condition. Concerns about terming the employee based on time away from work and being in the probation period? Thank you.
