Inappropriate Email/Internet use

Hi all,

I'm looking for some examples of computer use policies. We have a specific IT policy that an empoyee receives and signs when they get computer access as a new employee. We don't have anything specific in our employee handbook about email or computer use.

It has been difficult to enforce discipline when inappropriate forwards are being sent by employees because we do not catch all inappropriate emails, just some, and therefore we don't want to discipline some for breaking the rules, and not others. But we we also don't have time to monitor all emails being sent.

What is your experience when handling situations such as these, and do you all have any policies that you can share in regard to innapropriate email and internet use?
