COBRA Dependent ages out at age 26 due to new Federal Regulations

Has anyone seen any updated model notices for NYS, since the ARRA notices that came out. Now that dependents can be covered for up to 36 months for any qualifying event except for dental, unless the dental is part of the medical coverage, I have not seen anything come out yet. Everyone I talk to says they are just editing the original COBRA notice and hopefully editing it correctly. Thank you and have a great day

Glad to see you're keeping up with the latest regulations. For COBRA exchanges, it seems to be so difficult to keep up with; especially if you take into account the eligibility management, the regulatory compliance and the billing aspects. I hope you find your answer but it may be something that you would want to directly ask the experts about.
