Honesty with Exit Interviews

I have have friend who has going to have an exit interview. She
works for a company about 50-100 employees. She has had enough and has
decided to leave her position. Her company has never given an exit
interview until now.The question is should she be honest on why she's
leaving or not?

The main reason why she's quitting is because of her boss, who seems to me have no sense of respect for her employees.

 -
While on vacation and at midnight her boss calls her twice saying "I
didn't give this to you before you left, get this done by 5pm."

 -
Getting analysis done she gives her stuff to complete with no
explanation on how do it. That's fine though, she's intelligent and can
get it done. When finished she gave it to her and screamed, "This is
not how I want the finished product to look. do it over!" She asked,
"How do you want it done" and her reply, "You know how I want it done"
and walked into a meeting.  She repeated the task 4 times and she was
like "Don't you know how I want it done?" He said, "No that's why I
asked you, How do you want it done?"

- Sick with a 102 temperature, her boss calls him 15 times to get stuff done ASAP.

- There are more...

 It
turns out there have been more employees in the same position than the
number of years (6 ppl in 4 yrs). After putting her two weeks in, her
boss has finally been civil to her. Why am I always losing employees,
etc? They(the top people) at the company thought she could have a big place
in the company during her appraisal a few months ago).

 I'm
thinking she should be honest with the people who are conducting the
exit interview. It's stressful position but it doesn't help with that
type of manager on board. I can see why the high turnover. But at the
same time, there could be repercussions like the following scenario:

Through
the grapevine, the same company had another excellent employee leave
for similar reasons. The big shots of the company were upset that he
left that they called the new company anonymously saying that worker
stole stuff, was a horrible employee etc. They tried get to back at him for leaving.

Her boss and her are finally on good terms. She doesn't want to be honest at the exit interview.

Sticky situation, yes. Any advice?
