Paid Vacation

I am located in New Hampshire. Do I have to pay employees for their accrued vacation time if they've quit?

employer pay employees for accrued, unused time. New Hampshire prohibits "use it
or lose it" vacation policies.
What about in Louisiana? We have a use it or lose it policy... is that legal?
In Louisiana, unused earned time for paid vacation must be paid at termination.
By the way, HR.BLR.com has a state-comparison chart called Vacation Laws, By State. Subscribers to the site can access it here: http://hr.blr.com/timesavers.aspx?id=2279
<?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Maine law says that they must be paid their accumulated vacation time upon termination. Our employees lose their vacation time if they have not taken it by June 30th, the end of our fiscal year. They are allowed to get a waiver for extenuating circumstances. I guess that makes means we have a "Use it or lose it" policy except for the fact upon termination they are paid out vacation because of the wording of the law.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Has BLR updated the "Vacation Laws, By State" comparison chart since August 2006? I would likely purchase a subscription if this chart is updated periodically by BLR. Thanks.
