FMLA - time worked in light duty (not work comp)

Does the time that an employee works voluntary in a light duty position, count towards their 12 weeks annual of FMLA entitlement? This is not work comp related.
For example, if an employee was absent from work for 4 weeks on FMLA, then was able to return to light duty in another area and worked there for another 4 weeks, is 8 weeks counted toward their 12 week entitlement?
Thank you for your time.

From the Department of Labor website: The period of time employed in a light duty assignment cannot count, however, against the 12 weeks of FMLA leave.
Hope this helps!
