What's in a Name?

At this stage I really shouldn't be surprised by the things employees do but this one did give me pause.

It made me think about how employment laws can affect people's behavior but they don't really change the way people think about one another. That kind of transformation requires understanding and acceptance.

HR is often the leader in the quest to not only promote diversity but to embrace inclusion at most organizations. How is diversity described in your organization? What kind of diversity initiatives does your organization engage in? Is it mostly tolerance or does it include acceptance?

Please share your thoughts about how we can move inclusion to the front of the diversity discussion.

Thanks.

Sharon
