Our current policy on Family Medical Leave requires an employee to use all accrued personal, vacation and sick days while on leave. This is ok, correct??
Short answer is yes. If the leave is for a family member you might have to make sure your sick leave policy allows it, but other than that you should be ok.
You may want to check your state laws as well. In WI we cannot force the use of paid time off until the employee has exhausted their WI leave and are strictly on federal leave.
