Need Employee records/files Software, any ideas?

Hello all,

In the course of business in my role as an M. Lee Smith Publishers Sales Rep and HRLaws.com Specialist I have come across a need with a prospective client for software that would help them set up an electronic "employee records/files system".

Of course, as an HR compliance resource company we can advise on available resources that address the best practices and compliance issues as they would relate to this, but we do not actually offer the tools or software to implement a "system" like this for our customers.

Does anyone have any real live experience with any of the available tools in the marketplace for the purpose of setting up personnel / employee records/files electronically? Are there any resources available as a comparative tools for these?
