New September date for E-verify?

I had heard today that e-verify for federal contractors has been pushed back again to a day in September. I have looked everywhere but can't find anything about it. Is there any validity to this claim? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I wouldn't be surprised if this keeps getting pushed back for the next year.

I agree with Frank.
However, all I can find on line is an announcement that E-Verify has been delayed for the third time to June 30, 2009. Film at 11:00...

We've also heard about the possibility of another delay, but can't confirm it either.

Went to [url]www.dhs.gov[/url] and clicked on E-Verify.
It states: "Federal contractors and subcontractors will be required to begin using the E-Verify system starting June 30, 2009."

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services website is now officially reporting that the E-Verify deadline for federal contractors has been delayed again, until Sept. 8. tk
