I'm located in California, but when I post, my location comes up as Wisconsin. Wisconsin is colder, but probably a better environment for HR. Unfortunately, I'm stuck in CA. How can I correct this?

After a thread reaches 10 or so posts, further replies will show you temporarily being from the state of the previous poster when you first hit the "Post Message" button. But, if you go back you will notice your correct state will show.
edit: I just realized your orginal post shows WI. My first mistake this year.
You obviously live in Madison, Wisconsin because the infallible Forum software system says so. /:) I'm sure Madison is a nice place, so you just need to accept it.

P.S. to Don: I've been out sick with a bug that has all the symptoms of the flu, but my doctor assures me it's not the flu. I think that's supposed to make me feel better but it doesn't. :-S
Thanks for the soothing words, Don. Actually, I am from somewhere else. I like living in California, I'm just conflicted, because I don't particularly like working in California.
Having lived in California (L.A. area)during my "formative years", I can empathize. I love visiting there now, but wouldn't live or work there again.
Came up North 22 years ago for a vacation. "Shock and awe" come to mind. This state boggles the mind. I fell in love with it here and never went back. Have never regretted the decision.
Purely a myth about the mosquitos being as big as Chevys, although they have been know to carry off a small child or dog.
I really have enjoyed learning to fish the "Alaskan" way - with a gun. The halibut are so big that you have to shoot them before you can pull them into your boat or they would capsize you flapping around.
Ahhhh...life in the North, where a legitimate excuse for being late to work is "There's a moose in my driveway and I can't get to my car."

However, if you insist upon being listed in California, you just need to change your Forum account information. Instructions are here:

Thanks for the help. I have modified my profile, and hopefully I've been trasnsferred back to CA. I guess we're not in Wisconsin anymore, Toto.
