Per Person:
One propane grill
One Ballpark Frank
One fresh green onion
One strip good quality thin bacon
Two thin, flat toothpicks
1 oz. quality mustard
1 oz. BBQ sauce (optional)
2 oz. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
Slit Ballpark frank along one slide. Do not use cheap weanies under any circumstance.
Chop tip off green onion and chop off white end where the roots are so that your remaining onion is the length of your weanie. Discard. Peel first layer off onion.
Lay onion alongside frank and wrap bacon tightly against both, toothpicking at each end to secure bacon with onion between the two.
Bring grill to medium heat, spray cooking oil over grilling surface. Place hot dog on high rack or away from direct hot heat, turning frequently. Grill until crisp and dark. Drizzle on BBQ sauce. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over finished product and continue to grill for about 30 seconds.
Remove to tray. Place on nice dish or paper plate under either candle or candelabra with incense. Drizzle on mustard and enjoy.
Fresh garden salad compliments.
Goes especially well with 'Carb Heaven Hamburger'.

I can barely see the monitor for the tears in my eyes over that one comment. You know the one! I have this visual in my head.... Cutting board, knife, green onion, and well.......... you know!
Don - once again you have ticked my funny bone (perhaps not the best choice of words all things considered!) to the point I have had to close my office door.
I am going to print this out and add it to my "Funny File".
Thanks!
