cant cook cookies

Once again I am giving you an ultra simple recipe for those of you who have difficulty making anything but mush out of recipes. Even if you are a good cook you might like this one too.

CHOCOLATE CHIP KISSED COOKIES

Ingrediants:
One roll of chocolate chip cookie dough.
One bag of Hershey's chocolate Kisses.
(You will need a mini-muffin pan)

Directions:
Preheat your over per the instructions on the cookie dough. Continue to follow the instructions and slice the dough about 1/2 inch thick and then quarter each slice. Instead of putting the cut-up pieces on a cookie sheet, put them in the individual cups of the mini-muffin pan. Open the Kisses and place one unwrapped Kiss on each lump of dough. Do NOT push in; just place them on top. Bake the cookies per the dough instructions.

Yummy! I made 2 dozen of these Sunday for Father's Day and they were all gone within a few hours.

Hmmm... first cant cook soup, now cant cook cookies. I'm detecting a pattern here.

BTW, I tried the soup recipe w/o the meat -- it was truly wonderful. And I generally don't like soup, but I ate all of this stuff! It was great! x:-)

I see you have figured out that I am NOT a good cook. In a family of wonderful cooks, I truly stand out (out of the kitchen if possible). I have discovered that if I am diligent and search enough though, I can find easy subsitutes that hide my inabilities.

Glad you liked the soup. It is a great hit in my family. Though I got it from an aunt on my father's side, it has become known on my mother's side as Nae's Soup (a great source of humor for me). x;-)

Definitely simple, yes. But homemade cookies taste sooo much better! All the cookie recipe's I have are fairly simple or 'idiot proof'. Even my husband can't mess them up! x:D

I didn't criticize per se, just made a comment that the Ghiradelli brand just happens to be better than homemade. Brownies and Cookies are very different things. Cookies tend to taste better homemade, brownies on the other hand...

It is as always, just my humble opinion...we're all entitled to one.
