Saying Goodbye

I've been a member of this forum for nearly 5 years. Many ups and downs, but mostly ups. I have made many good friends, and probably a few enemies. But unfortunately, circumstances lead me to say goodbye. It has been a good ride, but must come to an end. I haven't lost my HR job, this is more for personal reasons.
I've told this story before. A former boss once told me to stick my finger in a bucket of water then remove it. How big is the hole in the water from my finger being there? That's how much I'll be missed. Life goes on, there'll be someone to take my place just as the water fills the gap when you remove your finger from the bucket.
To all you regulars who posted here, Paul, HRQ, Joannie, Frank, Steaks and the rest, it's been a lot of fun.
Goodbye everyone.

So sorry to learn that you are leaving. You have been a great counsel for those of us in need and your sense of humor has helped me and I am sure many others make it through more than day while hip deep in gators and trying to drain the swamp.
I sure hate to see you go, but I must respect your decision.
Best of luck to you and your family as you continue through this grand journey of life.

You will be sincerely missed.

Bummer! I was counting on you showing me the ropes of this forum being the new kid in town. I read for awhile before stepping on out. I love your wit.
I will just have to send you an Arkansas Hug! xhugs sniff....sniff Good luck to you and we'll hope for a visit from time to time. Now who do I look to for guidiance? Paul, Dutch, Joannie ?
Sorry to hear you are leaving us and hope you will reconsider. Many of us have benefited from your knowledge. If you are unable to stay, certainly we will understand.
Best wishes.
Cheryl
I am sorry that whatever has come up (your personal reasons) has happened. We all enjoy your participation quite a bit.
I understand your analogy about the finger in the bucket, but I think you don't fully appreciate how much we look forward to your wit and wisdom. It is certain that it won't be the same here without you.
I sincerely wish you and your family (and your band) well. Please come back when you are able. You will be welcomed by one and all.

Tell us.
You and I go back a long time, back to The Don era. Remember? As always in life, there are times one must pause. I know one thing. Your leaving the Forum is not going to be good for you or your spirit.
I just hope you come to your senses. Don't make me go over there.

This sucks.
My renewal is coming up. I have been considering whether or not to re-up. Not having Ray in the mix is a strike against it.
Now Paul will have the highest number of posts for any active member. Looks like my challenge is clear.
Sorry to read you are leaving. Yours is a familiar name among several. I don't post often but view regularly and have benefitted from your wit and wisdom.
Happy Trails!
Debbie
We're sorry to see you go. You've been a valuable part of the community. Good luck, and come back when you can.

I'm sorry to see you go. This is my first post in awhile and the first time I've had to log on in awhile too - to come back a read this is sad. I wish you well & understand that sometimes a break is necessary.
Good luck to you Ray!
