Gas Price

Not sure that I understand the why but our local price for a gallon of gasoline, both regular and premium is down to $2.09. Considerably lower in the past few weeks.
I understand that September is energy’s usual trough. School’s on, vacation traveling is at a minimum, windows are open and the AC is off, and sunlight still fills the house until after supper. So maybe folks are just using less... supply and demand?
When it takes 30+ gallons to fill the ole vehicle it really makes a difference. Middle of last week I filled up at $2.29 and was happy to see that decline, now already at twenty cents less.
