Supposedly, this is a voice mail from an operations manager for Jack in the Box who was late for a meeting and called his boss to tell him he was running late. As he was leaving the voice mail message, he witnessed an accident and went on to provide "play by play" of the incident. This is the actual voice mail message. Allegedly, it was forwarded so many times within Jack in the Box, it crashed their voice mail server. I know it is hard to believe that a "play-by-play" of an automobile accident could be funny, but you've got to hear this.

They were playing this on a local radio station a few months ago and yes it's hillarious. They even tracked down the guy who left the voice mail and of course he swears it was ligit and that it happened years ago. Whether it's ligit or not it is funny.

I have heard this before also. But I am the doubting Thomas. Most answering systems cut off after about 2min max. This supposed message goes on for 3 min and 25 seconds with no cut off; just comes to a nice ending.

Charter member of that club myself -- I could detect absolutely no other sounds (traffic, etc)whatsoever in the transmission -- which I found a little curious. On the flip side of it, I thought the guys hysterics were, well, very funny, even if contrived. I need to laugh like that a little more often -- suppose to be good for me.

Too funny! I could not stop laughing. I don't know if the guy's laugh was making me do it, or the images I was getting from the descriptions.

Uh oh, this sounds just like my nephew who lives in the Dallas area, especially his laugh. But wait, he doesn't work for Jack in the Box.
