NOTE: The Demo's brought it on themselves by filing those stupid lawsuits & Bush had choice but to defend himself. To make matters worse, the Demo's filed the lawsuits in mainly Demo counties accusing their own of voter fraud. Now how dumb is that?
BY the way, did the Democrat party intentionally plan on losing this election by having such an inept candidate. I'm sure Bill & Hillary are proud of Johnny boy, he makes it that much easier for Hillary in '08.
Slogan, Slogan, Slogan. I winked after I said it. Legally, Bush won - no issues there for me. I'm just joking around because I know it's a hot button issue for some folks on both side of the political fence. Sorry to hit yours.
LAST EDITED ON 10-27-04 AT 04:02AM (CST)[br][br]Bush wins the popular vote with 56.6% and easily rolls past the electoral college mandate with a cushion of at least 40. Kerry, Gore and a few Sharpton-like clowns are on television till four in the morning hollering 'Lawsuit', 'Lawsuit', 'Lawsuit'!
Sixteen minutes after the election is decided, my friends, Hillary Clinton's campaign begins.x:-)
I heard on NPR yesterday that there has been a poll taken for every presidential election among school aged kids going back to 1956. Every time the kids picked the actual winner of the presidential race. This year the kids overwhelmingly supported Bush.
We just got an e-mail from our son who is serving in the Marines in Iraq. He hates the desert and can't wait to leave it...HOWEVER, he states that he knows we (the U.S.) are doing the right thing over there. He says he is seeing roads paved and water running in places that had none and kids going to school. Some folks are even beginning to dress as Westerners. He's proud of what our country is doing and his contribution to the effort. Just wanted to let you know the point of view of one who is serving in Iraq. P.S. He hopes to continue serving under President Bush
Because imitation is the highest form of flattery. No one is imposing western dress on those people! They are choosing to do it themselves. I don't think Sue2 was saying that western dress itself is progress.
I'm thankful for sons like yours! Daughters, too! I wish him a safe return home. I don't know what he means by "dressing as westerners" either, but if the people are enjoying the FREEDOM of dressing like a westerner, a muslim, a european or whatever the heck they want to dress like, then something good has come out of it.
My prediction: Either Bush or Kerry will win, either decisively or indecisively, and in any event there will be lawyers, lawyers and more lawyers screaming "lawsuit," the Portland Republican Campaign Headquarters will be torched(because they're tired of just throwing rocks through the windows as they have been doing for the last couple of weeks), there will be some brief civil unrest, and everything will eventually go back to business as usual. x;-)

Kerry wins the popular vote and the Supreme Court AGAIN gives it to Bush.
