If gas prices continue the way they are...I might be biking to work...with my kid riding on the handlebars to drop her off at the babysitters...Up hill both ways..I'm not kidding it really is.

We have a plant in IL and I ran back to the hotel after training. It was only about 3.5 miles though.

DJ, Seriously, I meant to include it in a newsletter here. It totally got away from me. We have a group of 'fitness' people here who probably would have done it, including yours truly. Luckily I'm only two miles away.

I'm in Manhattan and frequently bike or walk to work. It's great at the end of the day to work some of the frustration off on the way home. Besides, then I can be lazy all evening and not feel as guilty about it!

I don't remember if I posted this on your last thread or not. But, it is funny. I used to be an avid cyclist - 3000 miles per year. ONe day a mile from home a bee flew into my mouth. I quickly spit it out but not before it stung me on the back of my throat. What does a bee sting do? Yep, makes you swell. What happens if the back of your throat swells? Yep, you wheeze and gasp for breath. I rushed home and grabbed a 1/2 gallon of ice cream and started shoving it down my throat to help keep down the swelling. In the meantime my wife had been grilling these nice steaks, which I was unable to eat.

I looked at the picture. I was chuckling because some of our hourly employees would be so literal and technical as to 'take their bike to work' in the back of their pick-up truck.

Took the bike to work twice this week. Still cool here in the morning, but the afternoons are nice. Wind was at 40+ on day two and going home directly into it was a bear.

Where's that alert button, mine didn't seem that bad to me but as the saying goes when you toot your own horn it ain't so bad. Also, I noticed that HRQ didn't show any bare leg in her post and neither did you Parabeagle. I think I'll work on a natural tan and update my photo as the summer progresses. xB-)

Sorry, I just couldn't resist.x}> It's time for me to boot down and get outta here, yesterday I finished my EEO/AA plan and tonight I am celebrating with copious amounts of barley and hops. If I was in your fine state I would go camping in the strawberry mountains, of course with a BFG for protection from those tree huggers as I burn my campfire. Have a safe relaxing weekend.
