Annual Smithee Awards

I just read the fascinating thread on dredlocks and braids in the other forum where I really should spend more time but don't. In any event, it inspired me. I propose that the Dredlocks/Braids thread has surpassed the Confederate Flag thread as Best Cyberdiscussion. Confederate Flag gets demoted to Best Supporting Cyberdiscussion. Other nominees for the proposed annual Smithee Awards could include Haiku, etc.
I really think M. Lee Smith Publishers (hereinafter MLSP) should consider having an annual Forum Awards presentation in which the writers of those threads with the most redeeming social value (or those with no redeeming social value) receive a free subscription. What do you say, James, et al.?

(edit) And for the 'Scam Me Award', based on the recent thread about giving spare change to bums, I nominate Marc for the first annual T-Shirt that says "Scam Me - I'm Easy".
Ray, was that another "evil twin" crack? If so, I think I take umbrage. I'm not sure if it's appropriate to take umbrage, or if I'm even using it properly or spelling it right (I've been teaching for the last three days) but I think I take it. x;-)
Great suggestion. We'll take it under advisement.

Thanks, Brad. Shades of "Die Hard" where Bruce Willis begs Alan Rickman not to hit the police vehicle with a rocket again - Rickman's response, "We'll take it under advisement. Hit it again!"
