Adults only: 18 and over (heterosexual couples only, thank you!) All inclusive: All food, beverages (not just local brands, if you want Johnny Walker Red you can have it), activities (except off-premise tours, etc.) and no tipping allowed.
Just thought I'd see if anyone else had given any more thought to a Forumite cruise, gathering, whatever. If we spent an hour actually discussing HR issues, we should be able to write it off on our taxes. If we could get M. Lee Smith to co-sponsor it maybe we could even get Margaret, James, et al. to attend! When you think about the amount we've spent collectively for our memberships, I'm sure they'd listen... NOT! x;-)
Maybe someplace centrally located, if not a cruise.
Iowa or Nebraska? NOT!!! Having lived in both, I can assure you that there's nothing in either state to recommend it as a gathering spot for anything, let alone our distinguished Forumites!

How about New Orleans? Don can take us to all of the fancy places his company paid for when he was down there - we can all press our noses into the windows - as our expense accounts are significantly lower than his x;-) ('cept for beagle - four seasons and all)
This is the best time of year to visit AZ. The weather's great and all the hiking, fishing, touring, shopping, golfing, swimming, biking one can stand. Come on down.

Or maybe a dude ranch in Colorado.
But Disney would be my first choice.

All you can eat
All you can drink
If Beagle and Ray banter - overboard they go
At Disneyland/world we might mix up the characters of Disney with the characters of the forum - we won't be able to tell them apart!
Oh boy, I suppose Beagle is going to start a post about those characters now, eh?

I suggest Don should invite us all to his place and he can fry up some turkey's for us.
>son? It ain't comfortable! In the dictionary
>under "hot" it says "see Mississippi."
Hence the Lynchburg Lemonades and frozen SoCo concoctions
We'll have to think of a unique way to figure out who is who. A masquerade ball.
Oh. Wait. That was another thread. x;-)
Just pick a spot - I'll be there!
Chicago sounds like a great choice!
