LAST EDITED ON 11-25-03 AT 01:49PM (CST)[br][br]I think he was a member of or toured with the Beach Boys early in his career so this is probably not the first time his brain was in a fuz.8-}
The clip of him on the news this morning was hysterical...he was totally drunk, staggering around the holding cell, he appeared to be ranting and raving. When he turned around and saw he was being taped he actually smiled and kind of straightened up and posed in a very humerous drunken way.
First he causes a fender bender, leaves the scene of the accident. A witness follows the car to his home in the Biltmore area (to be said in a very upper crust tone with your nose facing appropriately skyward).
“Officers contacted the driver of that BMW who was Glen Campbell. Based on his appearance and demeanor, they believed he was intoxicated and took him into custody.”
Yeah, just a bit...he blows a 0.20, which is an extreme DUI. So then he posts bail on the charges of suspicion of extreme drunken driving and hit and run. While being processed and just minutes away from being released - he gets angry and knees a sargeant in the thigh. So guess what - he gets arrested AGAIN on suspicion of assault.
He gave a concert here just a couple months ago...and now there's a PowerPoint document being emailed around the casino from the original concert flyers. The mug shot is replacing the photo op pic and it says, "Free Drinks, Free Food, Free Bail." Makes you so proud.
Here I am! I am not allowed in the Biltmore area. I do not own a BMW or Mercedes. I feel sorry for the guy. About a month ago he did an interview on the radio, one of the country stations. He has battled for years drug and alcohol abuse. Glenn said that he attributes his staying clean to his present wife. He said (and I quote)"I love her too much to see her cry."
I wonder what she's doing now? This morning's paper said that he admitted to "falling off the wagon". He said he was taking medication for anxiety and should not have had the couple of drinks he had after his golf game. Oh well, life goes on. Happy Turkey Day Everyone.
PS He DID sing Rhinestone Cowboy while he was in his holding cell.
Wow, great site- Kid Rock was a little cutie (amazing what too much smack does), and Michael Jackson is, hands down, the scariest person I have ever seen in my life.
Tawny Kitaen (sp?) is still my favorite mug shot. From the hottest babe on MTV to... aieeeeeee! If she got a major makeover, she would look almost as good as the average crack whore.

>offense, isn't it?
I think that's only the case in Mississippi and Alabama.
KIDDING! He's the soup guy right?
And he's always had helmet-hair. x;-)
