Popular Science magazine listed the 10 worse jobs in science. And they are really stinkers. Most are so bad, I'll only list a few.

Stool-Sample Analyzer - Tracy Wilkins and David Lyerly launched a company called Techlab that is dedicatd to making stool-analysis kits. Today, Techlab employs 40 people, 19 of whom spend their working hours opening stool canisters and analyzing their contents in order to test the effectiveness of the company's kits. The Techlab Web site sells T-shirts with cartoons on the front (two flies hover over two blobs of dung; one says to the other, "Pardon me, is this stool taken?") and the company motto on the back: "Techlab:#1 in the #2 Business!"

Actually, on reflection, I think I'll only list one!

Very good SF. Frankly, I'm surprised that a lady of your gentle stature would post that. I have often reflected, though, that in order for immodium to have been invented, two guys in a lab somewhere had to have spent at least every day for two years studying the dumping patterns of a wide sampling of Americans. Sounds like a job for my two favorite Forum guys. x}>

I heard about that list too...Makes me thankful for the job I have...I just remember, it could be worse! I could be dealing with real "crap" instead of the crap I deal with everyday...
