Officially Engaged!!!!

We have been talking about getting married for a while, but this past weekend I got a ring and we set a date (Novemeber 13, 2004!) I am soooo excited and ready to start planning a wedding, and I just wanted to share my news with ya'll!!

I agree with Sunny - don't let anything stress you out. There's no such thing as a "perfect wedding". The stuff that goes wrong will be the source of many "remember when?" conversations years down the road. Dealing with problems builds character. x;-)

Congratulations Nicole. Here's some advice I saved from my first marriage a hundred years ago....My mother-in-law to-be told her daughter that, after the stress of the wedding and the reception and a long drive to the coast she would be so tired and exhausted and there would be really no need to get excited, that she should just take a sleeping pill and get some rest. Hell, she did that for three and a half years; maybe that's why it didn't last. So,I'm not sure what the advice is that I said I was going to give you, but I'm sure there's a moral in there somewhere.
