Pretty mundane to me. Have been blessed to live in many parts of the country so tried it with different addresses and dogs. Didn't get any better so will spare you. Actually, I never knew the name of the street where my folks lived when I was born. .only there for one month before my Dad got orders to the other side of the country. .so if nothing else, this thread initiated a fun conversation with my 85 year old mother over the weekend so I could find out the name of the street.
Soap name: Leigh St. Ann Exotic name: Aja Moffett or (this is slightly more interesting) Lil'Puss Kenwood - I did NOT name these animals. Those were cats, the only dog I had was male, and his name was Prince, so it really doesn't fit. x;-)
Leslie: I got Nookie as a gift (and don't you dare misinterpret that statement or I will hunt you down!) on the day I made little league, when I was nine years old. Yes, the meaning is somewhat universal, even in the South, but at 9, I was totally unaware. I was at least 13 before I knew and then I was embarassed to tell people HIS name. x:-)
When I write my great American novel, I plan to use a pseudonym to protect me from the accused/guilty. Look for this name on the library shelves someday - "Paige Turner".
Soap Opera: Dean Since I was one of those Rural Route babies, with no street name. Somehow the one name doesn't have the same ring as Madonna or Prince : (
Exotic: Augsburg Spring Now there's a name with character!
If I use my middle name from before I was married, my soap opera name would be "Lynne Halifax", if I use my middle name now it would be "Ebert Halifax" which doesn't have quite the same ring to it.
Using a childhood dog, my "exotic" film name would be "Punkin Yates", but if I used my first pet that was mine alone, it would be "Java 3rd Ave S" how's that for exotic?
Got a real kick out of these! It was a good tension break for a Monday afternoon! Mine are so-so: soap name, Christine Falcon. Kind of has that 1980's soap feel to it, big hair, shoulder pads and all. My exotic name would be Heidi Virginius. Ick. Thanks for a good laugh!
OMG! This may be the best of the porn movie names!
>>Exotic Name (?): Taffy Koch
Now, let me get this one clarified. When you married, you changed your MIDDLE name?
>> If I use my middle name from before I was married, my soap opera name would be "Lynne Halifax", if I use my middle name now it would be "Ebert Halifax"
Of course, I also changed my LAST name. I wanted to take my husband's last to unify us as a family and to be less confusing for any future kiddies. I was also reluctant to jettison the name that came from my family, and had been part of my identity for 25 years. So, rather than hyphenate (which I find cumbersome and annoying), I dumped the middle name I was never all that fond of anyway, and moved my maiden name one to the left. Thus, went from Krista Lynne Ebert to Krista Ebert Denn (which will have been my legal moniker for 7 years as of this Saturday).
Boring soap opera name - Marie Marshall. Exotic name might have some flare though - could be Candy Marshall, Precious Marshall, Frisky Davison, Cookie Marshall.
Just an aside, can anyone tell me how to use the emotion icons?

Now, Don D, unless the South has some unconventional meaning for "nookie" than the rest of the country, that must have been a very active animal!
