I always wanted to use that line, as well -- unfortunately, one of my previous employers was so tight with a buck that candidates could - and frequently did - refuse!
One of my favorites is also from Animal house, but the exact quote is not printable here. The forum police would have me locked up for good. Loses something in the translation "You messed up, you trusted me."
From Animal House, the scene in which John B. is coming down the stairs and the kid is playing a guitar, John tilts his head, listens carefully, then takes the guitar smashes it to pieces, hands it back to the musician and says, with total insincerity, "Sorry."
WHEW!!!!! I'm glad I read the ENTIRE last time. When I saw the "six times married Don....", I almost stopped there and had a seizure!! How many woman could one man fool????
In Caddyshack Judge Smells (Ted Knight) tells Ty Webb (Chevy Chase) "you should play golf with Dr. Beeper and myself - he was club champion last year and I'm no slouch" Ty replies to Judge Smells "don't sell yourself short judge, you're a tremendous slouch".
