Don D keeps things interesting around here. He knows his stuff too. I like to tweak him from time to time and he likes to drop the hurt on me too but deep down I know he likes me.
The word mercurial comes to mind. Some say curmudgeonly. He is many things but never boring.

p.s. I am just curious to see how long it takes before his heiney notices this thread.
Well, you know what they say, Paul. The older you get the less observant you are. May take him a good two or three weeks to uncover this string. And I believe he's 37 about as much as I believe the sun rises in the west (can't believe he actually expects me to believe that).
No.. he's out there and he will find this thread. Its only a matter of time. Then again, he may lurk for awhile and not post. Just to keep us on the edge of our seats.
Or he might post using one of his alter-egos (ritaanz, Margaret Morford).
I see you guys like living dangerously. Didn't your mother teach you to respect your elders? AND..... I am not his alter ego. As I said before, he is my evil twin. x:-)
I am one of the "GUESTS" that Don has blasted over the last few months. We are an Employment Law Letter subscriber but had just not taken the leap to register on the Forum. Don't really know how old Don is, but what is really scary is that I have found myself leading cheers for most of his replies. GO DON!!!!
Aha!......In my old age, I have managed to stumble around long enough to discover this thread. For those of you who were kind in your remarks, you will get one free pass to spend a weekend at my place including a motorcycle ride, fried turkey feast and unrestricted viewing of the bottle trees. For the rest of you.......payback is hell. And for those of you who didn't post but thought bad things.......I have your names too. x:-) (beagle pair: read up on use of emoticons. Even legal scholars can do it with enough practice.)
Don, I would have said nice things but I figured all this unabashed praise would go to your head (not to mention the fact that I haven't seen this much sugary syrup since the last time I had pancakes).
I will read up on the emoticons and try to do better next time.
Just so you will know, the reason I posted the 'Speaking of Paul' alert was because you had been sorely missed for about a week. Thanks for letting us know you will be out next week. I won't put out an alert. Hope the interviews go well.
well geez, sorry this is a little late! Don has helped me directly and indirectly. He can even look over my spelling skills. Someone who can do that with grace deserves to get a nice slap on the back! (I mean that in the nicest way!)
You're great Don. Even before I joined this forum, I always read the threads looking to see what your words of wisdom would be. Have to respect a man who tells it like it is..
Well, you know Parabeagle, I WOULD say something nice about you..but you insulted my man Harry Ford and I am still getting over that..oh well.. you make me laugh and you have good advice when you're not knocking gorgeous leading men..

Only time will tell. No burning symbol yet...

Are you saying the rest of us are not up to your mental stature? I resemble that remark!

Hey its Friday and I hope you all have a great weekend. I will be gone all of next week and will miss you terribly!
Paul
More often than not I come to work to find a note of encouragement. I hate to erase these little acts of kindness.
Thanks Don!
Paul
Thank you for all of your help Don D.!

Don, you must be broke from paying all these people to say such nice things about you! What's your secret? Besides deep fried turkey, that is?:DD
