Sylvia: Wouldn't you just take your current application form and have someone translate it into Spanish and print some up? Or have a dual language app using your current app?
Yes, I am going to take our current application and make it a dual-language application. But since I am the one doing the translating, I want to make sure I use the proper wording and don't leave anything out. I am a fluent Spanish speaker, but I still would like to view a few examples to compare wording. Like with English applications where the wording is similar throughout companies, I have noticed the same with the Spanish applications I have seen in the past. Again, because as you say, these applications are usually a direct translation of their English version. So before I hire a professional translator, I would like to give this a shot myself. Thanks.
We have an application that I can e-mail to you if you give me your e-mail address. Please let me know if you see something on it that does not conform with the norm. Also, please remember that I am with a Wisconsin corporation and some of what we have on the application conforms with Wisconsin Labor Law and may be different for Texas.
