x:-/ Emergency Management Volunteers Policy

We have several emergency management volunteers and we are working on a policy and procedure to cover these type of volunteers. The policy and procedure will cover the following: Volunteer Application, who shall/shall not be permitted in the EOC (Emergency Operations Center), volunteers must sign background release form so we may check his/her backgrounds. Does anyone have a volunteer policy? I know we will miss something - anything would help.

Get in touch with those organizations that have combination paid and volunteer staff. Fairfax Coounty Fire & Rescue in Fairfax County Va is one. Prince George's County Fire & Rescue in Maryland. Hope this helps
