Extra pay for exempt salaried employee

Hi Gang,
Just want to make sure I'm right on this. Warehouse supervisors work a rotating Saturday schedule. One is currently off on STD. The other two are having to pick up the slack. They have asked to recieve additional pay for any extra Saturdays they work outside of their original rotation. If we do this, will it impact their exempt status?

There are lots of threads discussing losing the exemption in these cases. The safest way to do this is to pay a bonus for the extra work. You get to decide what the bonus amount should be.
